Marblehead Yacht Clubs

Marblehead is home to six yacht clubs (alphabetically): Boston Yacht Club, Corinthian Yacht Club, Dolphin Yacht Club, Eastern Yacht Club, Marblehead Yacht Club and the Pleon Yacht Club. Beginning each spring, five of the yacht clubs fire cannons of various sizes and shapes to mark Evening Colors (a naval tradition where the flag is lowered at sunset).
